Editorial policy
The standards applied to financial content.
Independence
We prioritise neutral, educational information and avoid promises, personalised recommendations and unsourced time-sensitive claims.
Sources
We prefer public authorities, regulators, official law and primary documentation. Sources appear with articles when relevant.
Automation
Automation may assist planning, writing, translation and images. Content passes structural, safety and consistency checks; a human gate can block publication.
Updates
Defective content is flagged for revision and material changes update the modified date.
Publication and correction cycle
Content needs a clear purpose, must avoid duplicating another page, distinguish facts from examples and cite primary sources for external rules or data. Automated writing or translation is not published merely because it meets length checks. A report can trigger an immediate correction, full revision or temporary withdrawal. Quality status is retained so a previous approval cannot hide a later defect.
What we do not publish
We reject content that promises approval, hides costs, invents testimonials or credentials, repeats temporary terms without a date or presents an example as a recommendation. We also review material that is too close to an existing page to prevent duplication across calculators, glossary and blog.
Review and scope
Formulas and explanations are reviewed when calculation code changes or a material error is found. General content is checked periodically and shows its updated date.
Simulations do not automatically include every fee, tax, insurance cost or country-specific rule.
